"Trust Walk" Team Building Activity
 
Description:
 
This is an outdoor based challenge built into our grounds designed to be suitable for teams of up to 12 people.
 
All team members are blindfolded, bar one.
 
The team members join up in a form of a caterpillar, one behind the other, holding each others belt, waist, shoulder or hand.
 
The team member at the very back is the the one without the blindfold and is responsible for communicating directions and successfully navigating the team through the labyrinth whilst experiencing various sensory stimuli.
 
Once the person at the front of the 'chain' senses a change in their surroundings (i.e. texture under foot, smell, physical change to surroundings etc) then they, and only they, remove their blindfold on to the person who was at the back.
 
The process continues until the team reach the centre of the labyrinth where all team members can remove their blindfolds for a short break.
 
The process is then completed to exit the labyrinth.
